Dr.V.Jeyalakshmi is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She obtained Master degree with distinctions in Microwave and Optical Engineering and Doctorate in Reconfigurable Architecture of Software Defined Radio (SDR). She has published more than 40 research journal papers and guided more than 100 students’ projects in both UG and PG level. Delivered more than 40 Video Lectures for MOOC, Swayam-Government of India in various courses like. Microprocessor, VLSI Design.She established an AICTE sponsored MODROB project for VLSI Lab with fund of 4 Lakhs and she is expertise in Next-Generation Communication system, Digitalization, Process Automation, IoT development, Network Security issues, MEMS, Embedded system and VLSI testing. Recently guiding research scholars in IoT Based Agriculture like Plant Health monitoring, Soil nutrients identification and Fruit ripening & Disease identification using AI based Embedded system. She has submitted AGROBOT Funded Project to TANII and started collaborate engineering works with Agriculture University. Fruit ripen project done by color coding and image processing was presented in IIIT Kottaiyam Conference. Now she has started studies in VOC profiles of different components of Fruits and seeds. How to capture the breath out gases for analysis the elements to take decision about the stage of fruit ripen and seed quality. She is a life member in various professional bodies like ISTE and IETE. She is a reviewer of Coimbatore Institute of information Technology, International Journal of wireless communication and International Journal of networking and communication Engg.
