Betsy Chacko completed her MCA, from Christ College, Bangalore in 2000 and received MPhil from Mother Theresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal in 2005. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Applications, St.Mary’s College, Thrissur. She has 17 years of teaching experience in collegiate education. Her research interest includes IoT(Internet of Things) , Big Data and Data Science and several students completed their UG and PG projects under her guidance. She has published papers in international journals and conferences. She has organized several International, National and Regional webinars, seminars and workshops both for faculties and students of UG and PG. She is a life member of ISTE and delivered invited talks in various colleges inside Kerala. She is also a member of PARIVAAR-NCPO and conducts computer literacy workshops and awareness programs to the neighbouring communities, especially to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
