Through this course in MIS students shall learn how organizations use information to improve the company’s operations. Through this course in MIS students shall also learn how to manage various information systems so that they best serve the needs of managers, staff and customers. MIS shall students learn how to create systems for finding and storing data and they learn about computer databases, networks, computer security, decision support system, ITES and lots more.  

Studying management information system is going to make students understand the role of information technology in the company. The kind of IT programs that your company use may affect the decisions that students make in the structure and strategies of students organization and customer relationships. With students background on key concepts in MIS, students will be able to strategically use control and implement modern information systems that include business software.

Dr. Abhilasha Ambatipudi

Working as Assoc. Professor has a rich of teaching experience in  teaching management subjects  in affiliation with University of Pune, University of Mumbai, & KL (Deemed to be) University. She has been associated with EMRC, Pune as subject expert and delivered e-lectures on various management topics. 

She published two text books for Himalaya publishing house. She authored many research articles which published in various impact factor journals and ISSN & ISBN publications.  She has organized and participated many Faculty Development Programmes conducted by prestigious Management Institutions and universities. 
 
Her research area of interest is organization communication and Human Resource management.
