It provides the study of 8085 architecture, functional diagram details, instruction types with simple programming, addressing modes, interfacing with memories and the timing diagram. Interfacing with peripheral devices like 8155 and 8255.

Dr. Sumeet Gupta

Associate professor,Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, J&K.
Dr. Sumeet Gupta is an Associate professor working with School of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, J&K.  He has worked in the industry and has designed 07 products used for process instrumentation in the process industry including various analog & digital data acquisition systems, embedded flue gas analysers and water quality analysers.  He has also designed enterprise-wide software applications for various government and semi-government organizations.  He has taught various courses in Embedded Systems, Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, Digital Electronics, Digital Systems Design, Wireless Networks, Analog system Design, Electronic Circuits & Simulation and more, extensively at undergraduate and postgraduate level.  His Ph.D. is in the field of Wireless Sensor Networks and his research interests include embedded systems, wireless networks, UAVs and their applications in disaster management.  He has successfully completed 05 sponsored research projects from prestigious agencies like ISRO, JKSERC, UGC & MHRD besides consultancy assignments from the industry.  He has guided 07 M.Tech. dissertations and 02 Ph.D. students.  He has made his mark with well cited publications in SCI indexed journals.

Internal Assessment :  30%  &  Proctored Examination: 70%  Total Marks: 100 ; Passing Marks: 40
