This course is designed to give students a broad overview of the human development and behaviour, emphasizing on significant concepts, theory, and research.

The main objectives of the course:

Develops an understanding of the significance of Developmental Psychology.
Helps students to learn the stages of life span, principles of development and tasks and hazards at each stage.
Provides an insight into the physical, cognitive, social, emotional and personality development at different stages of the life span.
Enables students to deal with issues in adolescence, a significant stage in human life.
Develop an awareness into the midlife crisis and adjustment problems in middle age and old age.

Practicing Counselling psychologist.

Supervised many M.Phil and Ph.D Scholars at OU, Bharathiyar and S.V. University.
She is a Trainer to various government, Private and educational Institutes. She also prepared Written course material and also audio- visual Material for IGNOU, OSMANIA, BRAOU and UOH.
She is a resource person to AIR and various regional TV Channels on psychological issues.
She was also a columnist in Regional Newspapers.
Member of various Professional organisations.
