It is a foundation course and the application of this knowledge completely depends on an individual learner and his or her area of research.

Objectives of Course

Upon completing the course, one would be able

2. To identify and avoid the plagiarism.
3. To practice the basic skills of performing quality literature review.
4. To practice the basic skills of research paper, review paper and thesis writing.
5. To target the research work to suitable journal and communicate for publication
6. To practice the Time and team management.
7. To practice digital writing or develop Open Educational Resources (OER).
8. To write research proposals, conference abstract and book chapters/ book proposals.

M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics), MBA (Operations Management); Ph. D., PDF Meijo University, Nagoya, Japan; Academic and research experience of 18.5 Yrs and 1 yr Industrial Experience; He has been included in the World's top 2 % Scientist of Pharmacy and Pharmacology (by Stanford University Research, 2020 and 2021) . He has completed 11 research projects funded by various agencies; He has published 84 papers,11 books, and 3 patents (02 granted). He is a highly cited researcher in the field (h index 26, i10 index 36). He has presented papers in more than 100 conferences; Awarded Daiko Foundation Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship and invited by Meijo University, Nagoya, Japan as visiting scientist for research for FY 2011-12; Awarded with the prestigious national Research Award by UGC, New Delhi, and Young Scientist Award of the year 2007 by Uttarakhand Council of Science & Technology (UCOST); Expert reviewer of Iceland Research Foundation Iceland; Israel Science Foundation, Israel and Scientific Expert (REPRISE) for Ministry of Institution and University Research (MIUR), Italy, Elsevier Books; Member of The Asian Council of Science Editors, APTI and IPA; Editorial Board Member and Peer reviewer of various national and international reputed journals; supervised 25 M. He has developed more than 200 hrs. of e-content for SWAYAM, SWAYAMPRABHA, ARPIT courses, and other edtech platforms. He has developed two SWAYAM Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs): “Academic Writing” (listed in the top 30 world MOOCs and appreciated by PIB and MoE, GoI; ranked #1 in exam registration in 2019 and 2020) and Industrial Pharmacy I (First and only Pharmacy MOOC in India) with more than 69000 learners from more than 100 countries (including both the courses). Recently, as per the Ministry of Education Survey (May 2022) his SWAYAM MOOCs ranked in the top 5 MOOCs. Academic Writing and Industrial Pharmacy MOOCs have been adopted for credit transfer by more than 70 and 20 Universities, respectively. He has also developed more than 24 online courses for various edtech platforms. He is also a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Master Trainer and has trained more than 1000 educators for digital, blended and flipped learning through ICT tools. If You wish to get certified on this course you must register and write the proctored exam after payment of exam fee
The exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in various exam centres across India. 
30 Marks will be allocated for Internal Assessment (assignment/ discussion forum/ activity) and 70 Marks will be allocated for external proctored examination.
A  minimum 
40 % passing marks are needed in internal AS WELL AS external for being eligible for certificate.
