Dr. Manasi Kurtkoti

Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune
Achievement: 
An author of one reference book and ten text books in Economics. Recipient of “Best Teacher” award in -
• 2014 awarded by SavitriBaiPhule Trust, Pune. 
• 2008 awarded by Lions Club, Pune 
• 1999 awarded by Bhartiya Congress Sena, Pune. 
• Bestowed with Ph.D. in 2012. 
• Elected as subject expert in Board of Studies of Economics, SPPU in November 2019. 

Teaching Experience: 
• Working as Head of the department, Department of Economics in Dr. D. Y. Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College, Pimpri, Pune since 1997. 
• Working as Adjunct faculty in College of Engineering Pune for the subject of Engineering Economics 
• Working as IQAC Coordinator in Dr. D. Y. Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College, Pimpri, Pune since 2010. 
• Contributed 10 video Lectures to EMMRC, Savitri Bai Phule Pune University to be reflected on VYAS Channel for education. 
• Coordinated 37 video Lectures to EMMRC, Savitri Bai Phule Pune University to be reflected on VYAS Channel for education. 
• Delivered radio talk on Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 on vidya vaahini, a radio channel for university students 
• Has delivered talks on demonetization, foreign trade, importance of NAAC accreditation, land acquisition, academic and administrative audit (AAA) etc as resource person for national and state level conferences. 
• Organized one international conference, two national conference and two state level conferences in college on varied topics. 
• Contributed 5 papers in international peer reviewed journals with impact factor ranging from 2.5 to 6.5. 
• Presented 23 papers in various International and National conferences organized by various universities and colleges. 
• Contributed papers to e journals on the topics related to economics and interdisciplinary subjects like Foreign trade, attrition rate in schools etc.

Course certificate

Dear Learners,
For getting the certificate and credits, you are required to attempt a minimum of 5 weekly assessments and appear for the end course proctored examination in person. The announcement of the proctored examination will be done separately in due course of time.

The Swayam Board considers marks for best of 5 assessments. You have to secure a minimum of 40% marks average in all the assessments to be eligible for the end course proctored examination. 

The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only). Announcement will be made when the registration form is open for registrations.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE
Average assignment score = 30% of average of best 5 assessments out of the total assessments given in the course.
Exam score = 70% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=12/30 AND EXAM SCORE >= 28/70. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

Note: Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
