This course is divided into genres – Poetry, Drama, Non-fiction Prose, Fiction and also Short fiction.

This course will try to show :

The validity of studying Indian writers and their work, which have become very popular through out the world.

The necessity for Indian students to know about their culture and history.

Dr. Annie Pothen

The English and Foreign Languages University (Host University)
Dr Annie Pothen,Prof of English,Poet, Public Speaker,Faculty Trainer is a Former Head of PG College Osmania University with a brilliant academic track that includes a Gold Medal in BA English, a University 2nd Rank in MA English & a Gold Medal in PhD for her Thesis.

She has delivered more than 100 lectures in many places in Hyderabad & other places in India.She has published many research articles in national & international journals

and has produced study material for several universities.Being s Soft Skills Trainer, she has much experience in Faculty Training & has completed 2 UGC Projects in this area

A Research Supervisor she has to her credit

25 scholars so far,15 MPhils & 10 PhDs with 6 more currently awaiting the award of their degrees.
Having written & published extensively, she has been on the Editorial Board of books& journals. With many poems published in PEN, QUEST& other journals, she was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by the Paradoxist Literary Movement, University of Arizona, USA and a Member of the American Bibliographical Institute for a number of years

SOUL REFLECTIONS in 2 volumes  of her Poetry has been published by AMAZON on KINDLE. Her 3rd volume will soon be published.She has made many TV appearances speaking on Literature & Soft Skills. Finally she is optimistic that both Soft Skills and Poetry would help to bring about a positive change in our present world
