III. Explain the terms ‘resources’ and ‘management’ identify, describe the characteristics and classify resources and describe ways of maximizing satisfaction from the use of resources;  
IV. Awareness on the importance of consumer education and management at individual and family levels

Dr. D Ratna Kumari, presently working as Associate Dean, College of Community Science (Formerly Home Science), PJTSAU, Hyderabad. completed her PG from APAU and PhD from ANGRAU. She has contributed to the quality and the growth of APAU and ANGRAU with 31 years of service in teaching, research and extension The following are some glimpses of her contributions to research and special honours she held.

She has undergone 19 Special trainings undergone varying from 2 days to 30 days in areas of like Ergonomics, Resource Management, Consumer Education, Computers, Auto CADD, REVIT, Basic Television production Techniques, Information technology, Aids for classroom teaching and delivered 10 guest lectures in areas of Resource Management, Ergonomics, Consumer Education, Internship, ELP to SAU Faculty and also to Government functionaries.

She was Subject expert for e-courses under NAIP subproject on e-Home Science Courseware Consortium on Family Resource Management  and involved in the Development of e-courses under NAIP subproject on e-Home Science Courseware Consortium, 2008 to 2011, and developed two courses  Technical Drawings in Interiors  and Functional Interiors for Special Needs Was involved in the Creation of e-content for UGC-MHRD, sponsored NME-ICT e-content development programmes as Subject Coordinator for EMMRC UGC e-courses on Family Resource Management uin the completion of 110 Lessons on Family Resource Management.  Was also the Subject expert for EMMRC UGC e-courses on Family Resource Management. Developed 33 Video lessons 

She has also done Translation of secondary course material of NIOS in 2014 and translated 16 lessons of Resource Management and Consumer Education from English to Telugu - APOS Home Science FRM course – Translator for the course content from English to Telugu and also Paper evaluation of the above courses.
