Mr. Jayant K. Oke

Savitribai Phule Pune University
Mr. Jayant Oke, a Government Open Merit Scholar, has done his Masters in Arts (Economics) and Masters in Management Sciences (Marketing). He has also studied P. G. Diploma in Computer Applications & Systems Analysis and P. G. Diploma in Taxation Laws.

Selected as Probationary Officer by / for the State Bank Group in 1974 and was later also selected as Economist by/ for the B.S.R.B., Bangalore, in the 1980s. He has Banking experience of over 15 Years, both Line and Staff Assignments including Credit / Risk Management, Strategic Planning, Analysis of Macro & Micro Economic Issues.
  
Presently engaged in Corporate Training and Consulting and has been associated with some of the leading, blue chip, Corporate Organizations in India.

Resource Person for Faculty Development Programmes conducted / sponsored by University Grants Commission (UGC) ,  All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) , Directorate  of Technical Education (DTE) , Government of Maharashtra.

Member, Board of Studies, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune; Member, Local Management Committee / Governing Council of PCMRD, Pune and is empaneled as Expert Member for Employability Skills & Career Development Programmes for students BY SPPU, Pune.

Associated as a Visiting Faculty in Management with leading Management Institutes, including Bharati Vidyapeeth’s IMED, Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University and Symbiosis Insritutes. 

Presented programs for University Grants Commission’s (UGC) “Country Wide Classroom” on India’s National TV Network (DD) on Economic Issues of current interests.

Worked on Ford Foundation-funded projects on Good Governance.
Awarded Honoris Causa by Commonwealth Vocational University.

Course certificate

Dear Learners,
For getting the certificate and credits, you are required to attempt a minimum of 5 weekly assessments and appear for the end course proctored examination in person. The announcement of the proctored examination will be done separately in due course of time.

The Swayam Board considers marks for best of 5 assessments. You have to secure a minimum of 40% marks average in all the assessments to be eligible for the end course proctored examination. 

The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only). Announcement will be made when the registration form is open for registrations.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE
Average assignment score = 30% of average of best 5 assessments out of the total assessments given in the course.
Exam score = 70% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=12/30 AND EXAM SCORE >= 28/70. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.
