This course covers various dimensions and importance of effective   personality. It helps understand personality traits and formation and vital contribution in the world of business. Also the course makes the students aware about the various dynamics of personality development. 

The course aims to cause a basic awareness about the significance of soft skills in professional and inter-personal communications and facilitate an all-round development of personality. Hard or technical skills help securing a basic position in one's life and career. 

But only soft skills can ensure a person retain it, climb further, reach a pinnacle, achieve excellence, and derive fulfillment and supreme joy. Soft skills comprise pleasant and appealing personality traits as self-confidence, positive attitude, emotional intelligence, social grace, flexibility, friendliness and effective communication skills.

Dr. Sweta Sanjog Metha

Savitribai Phule Pune University
Dr. Sweta Metha is working as Incharge Director in Chintamanrao Institute of Management Development and Research, Sangli and has 19 years of teaching experience in management subjects like Marketing Management, Finance Management and some of the general management subjects at PG and UG level. Completed PhD from Shivaji University, Kolhapur in 2013. Associated with Educational Multi Media Research Centre (EMMRC), University of Pune as a subject expert, prepared and presented audio, visual lectures for management subjects. Event management is her passion and she has organized various innovative events for management students. 

Course certificate

Dear Learners,
For getting the certificate and credits, you are required to attempt a minimum of 5 weekly assessments and appear for the end course proctored examination in person. The announcement of the proctored examination will be done separately in due course of time.

The Swayam Board considers marks for best of 5 assessments. You have to secure a minimum of 40% marks average in all the assessments to be eligible for the end course proctored examination. 

The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only). Announcement will be made when the registration form is open for registrations.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE
Average assignment score = 30% of average of best 5 assessments out of the total assessments given in the course.

Exam score
= 70% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=12/30 AND EXAM SCORE >= 28/70. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

Note: Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
