This course provides an overview of the decision making in the field of controlling cost of production, reducing wastages  and thereby reducing cost of production.    It will help  students to achieve  an organized approach to solve financial problems. During the course the students will be imparted comprehensive understanding on key concepts of management accounting as well as contemporary issues in management accounting. . The current course will mainly focus to equip the students with the basic understanding of the various methods for  better financial management and decision making  in changing business scenario and to provide an insight into the application of dynamic analytical techniques to face the stormy challenges, aimed at fulfilling the objective of business decision making

Instructor bio


Dr. Deepak Raste is Associated Professor in Accountancy with Shree Sahjanand Vanijya Mahavidyalaya affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad since 1991. He is also Ph.D. supervisor at Gujarat University. 7 students have been awarded  Ph.D. degree and 7 students are pursuing Ph.D. under his supervision. He has also completed Minor Research project on “Euro Issues by Indian Companies” sponsored by UGC. He has also authored and co- authored text Books in Accountancy and Secretarial Practice published by Gujarat Text Book Board of Government of Gujarat. He has also presented research papers at National and International conferences in India and abroad and also published Research papers in National and International Journals.
