The course outline the concept and structure of capitalism and the role of state in the evolution of  capitalist economy.

Dr. Samrat  Roy  is currently  the  Ph.D  Coordinator  of  St. Xavier’s  College(Autonomous)  Kolkata. Dr. Roy  is  a  doctorate  in Economics  and has  published  papers  in reputed  journals.  He  has  research insights  on  political  economy, globalization and its applications  in real world.  He  acted  as  resource persons  at  different  institutions  of  repute. He is presently developing e content of 15 modules each of  MOOC courses on Econometrics and Political Economy I.
