Now to understand how India is becoming the dominating factor in Global Polics, we have to understand the basic tenets of Global Politics & International relation.

This MOOC on UNDERSTANDING GLOBAL POLITICS is a non-technical overview of Global Political scenario and understanding with special reference to India. 

This course within the broad domain of Political Science is based on UGC CBCS syllabus of B.A-Political Science. 

And most importantly this course is designed & coordinated by renowned Political Scientist & Ideologue DR. SARUP PRASAD GHOSH, DIRECTOR of MAKAIAS-KOLKATA.

MAULANA ABUL KALAM AZAD INSTITUTE OF ASIAN STUDIES (MAKAIAS)

Dr. Sarup Prasad Ghosh is an Indian by nationality, writer and academician by profession. He studied in South Point School, Kolkata, Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, St. Xavier’s College and Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has served as Registrar, Dean of Academics and Controller of Examinations in different academic institutes of repute and at present, the Director of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata.

 

His main field of study is Social Sciences. Dr. Ghosh is also associated with the Ramakrishna Mission for a long period. His doctoral and post-doctoral dissertations are all published by reputed publishers from Kolkata. His doctoral dissertation was entitled “Swami Vivekananda’s Views On The Role Of Religion And Caste In India’s Social Political Life: A Contemporary Perspective”.
