By Santu Ghosh   |   Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences
Learners enrolled: 1354

In this course you will learn how to analysis data by R statistical software, which is absolutely free and can be downloaded from (https//www.r-project.org). You will learn how to install and configure software necessary for a statistical programming environment and describe generic programming language concepts as they are implemented in a high-level statistical language. Course will also teach you how to get access to R help as well as different vignettes with lot of case studies. The course covers practical issues in statistical computing which includes programming in R, reading data into R, accessing R packages, writing R functions, debugging, profiling R code, and organizing and commenting R code. The course will cover basic statistical analysis through R programming such as data exploration for qualitative as well as quantitative information, inferential statistics, simple and multiple regression, basic categorical data analysis, concept of longitudinal data analysis. Power and sample size calculation, numerical optimization and maximum likelihood estimation (mle).
