The course “Psychology of Motivation and Learning is part of the core subjects in B.Ed, under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) of UGC. The course is specially designed to develop the comprehension of the students about Motivation and learning and its impact on classroom atmosphere and the holistic personality of the student. It will also help the students in addressing many issues of education viz; under-achievement, Student unrest, Examination fear, Methods of Teaching and issues related to guidance and adjustment. This course will also help the students to develop proper attitudes related to the profession of teaching, and later life adjustments.

Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Rather

Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Rather is senior Assistant Professor, at Department of Education University of Kashmir with more than 10 years of teaching experience. He has an M. Phil &PhD from university of Kashmir and has been involved with teaching various subjects at UG and PG levels including Psychology, Creativity and Education, Guidance and Counseling, Mental Hygiene. His research interests include creativity and learning etc. He has been associated with various Radio and T.V programmes linked to Education, psychology and Counseling. Acted in various psychology and decision making as developer and presenter of contents for MOOCs and development of e-Content.

Course certificate

30 Marks will be allocated for Internal Assessment and 70 Marks will be allocated for end term proctored examination Securing 40% in both separately is mandatory to pass the course and get the Credit Certificate.
