The course is an introduction to the new media production techniques and storytelling. The Media content today has undergone a revolutionary change in terms of its production for multiple media platforms like cinema, television, mobile, wearable media, virtual reality and augmented reality etc. 
With the advent of convergence of technologies and internet penetration made possible for the audience to access media content as per their preferences. This gave great opportunities for individuals, film makers; television and digital media companies to produce media content to suite the multiple media platforms. 
In a nutshell the rise of digital media platforms set a demand for new aesthetics, newer production techniques, packaging, circulation, distribution and sharing of the media content. 
The  MOOC on ‘Media Content Production on Multiple Platforms’ enables the learners to:

Dr. Krishna Sankar Kusuma

Professor at AJKMCRC 

Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University)


Dr. Krishna Sankar Kusuma is currently working as a Professor at AJKMCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia. He teaches Mobile Storytelling, South Indian Cinema, New Media Storytelling, Science Documentary,Communication Research,Theory, Street theater, puppetry,  Advertising and Public Relations, Performance media and   at AJK MCRC. He has 18 years of teaching experience in the field of Mass communication and Journalism. He was also in charge of the CEC-UGC Educational programme production, MOOC’s and ePathshala, Swayam Prabha (Channel-5) . He completed his Masters from Hyderabad Central University and earned his Doctorate degree from Jamia Millia Islamia. Before joining AJKMCRC he worked with CEDEC-NISWASS in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, Tezpur central university. He has also taught at College of Applied Sciences, Ministry of Higher Education, Oman, Distinguished Fellow to research on Mobile Studies at Nottingham University.
