The course "Effective Decision Making" aims to equip students with a range of strategies to make informed decisions in various aspects of life, particularly in relation to career choices, self-discovery, conflict management, negotiation, dealing with difficult people, and problem-solving. In addition, the course will also emphasize workplace decision-making and the cultivation of competences and abilities necessary for efficient decision-making. This course is particularly beneficial for students enrolled in various graduate and postgraduate programs offered at UGC recognised colleges & universities. However the course can be opted for by anyone, irrespective of their field of specialization.

Instructor bio

Dr. Mohd. Muzamil

University of Kashmir

Dr. Mohd. Muzamil works as Assistant Professor at Department of Psychology University of Kashmir. He has been awarded Ph.D from University of Kashmir and has also qualified NET & SET Examination, conducted by UGC. Apart from having one Gold Medal to his credit, he has also received many best research presentation awards at various conferences. He has published twenty research papers and has participated in eighteen national/international conferences. Dr.Muzamil has got specialisation in organizational behaviour, biopsychology, psychometrics and Data Science. He is currently coordinating Spoken Tutorial Project- IIT Mumbai & serving as Principal Investigator for an ICSSR Sponsored project. 

Course certificate

30 Marks will be allocated for Internal Assessment and 70 Marks will be allocated for end term proctored examination Securing 40% in both separately is mandatory to pass the course and get Credit Certificate.
