This is a course on Statistics for Business Decisions. It is a core subject which has 4 credits and 40 modules that would be offered under the program. The application of Statistical Techniques for Business Decisions would be the prime focus of the program. The course structure would range from Descriptive Statistics to Inferential Statistics. Under Descriptive Statistics, topics like Measures of Central Tendency, Measures of Dispersion, Regression and Time Series would be discussed. Under Inferential Statistics topics like Probability, Probability Distribution and Hypothesis Testing would be covered. Students would learn how to apply these statistical techniques not only for business decisions but also for research methodology. This course will be offered over a span of twelve weeks. By the end of the week, the students will be given assignments and FAQs. The queries will be answered through emails.
