CHEMISTRY OF NANOMATERIALS

By Dr. SYAMCHAND. S. S   |   University College, Thiruvananthapuram
Learners enrolled: 638
Nanotechnology is a very important and fast-growing branch with multidisciplinary interface among all branches of science. The main feature of nanoscience is the control of matter on a nano scale. The physicochemical properties of the nanosized materials are entirely different from that of the bulk materials, which make their study more enthusiastic.
Most of our Universities incorporated nanomaterials and nanotechnology as part of the UG as well as PG curriculum. In this scenario the present course is developed as highly learner supportive program and it can clearly provide substantial knowledge in the area of nanomaterial science.
The principal objective of the course is to provide necessary and sufficient knowledge in the highly emerging area of nanomaterials and to develop genuine interest in that field. The course aims to provide information through a simple learner friendly strategy.
