It provides the study of 8085 architecture, functional diagram details, instruction types with simple programming, addressing modes, interfacing with memories and the timing diagram. Interfacing with peripheral devices like 8155 and 8255.

Instructor bio

Dr. P. Sakthivel, Professor

College of Engineering, CEG Campus, Anna University, Chennai - 25
Dr. P. Sakthivel completed his B.E(CSE) from Sathyabama Engineering College (University of Madras), Chennai in 1992, M.E(CSE) from Jadavpur University, Kolkatta in 1994 and Ph.D(CSE) from Anna University, Chennai in 2008.

He joined as a Lecturer in Ramanujan Computing Centre, Anna University in April-1999 and presently working as Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Anna University.

His area of interests are Data Structures and Algorithms, VLSI Design and Testing and VLSI Algorithms.

He is also serving as the Controller of Examinations (i/c), Anna University from April 2022.

The course is free to enroll and learn. 

Internal Assessment :  30%  &  Proctored Examination: 70%  Total Marks: 100 ; Passing Marks: 40

• Certificate/Examination Registration url:  Announcements will be made when the registration form is open for registrations.

 Should you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by us through SWAYAM-NTA in person at any of the designated exam centers pan INDIA (The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- only)

It is mandatory to secure 40% marks separately to pass the exam and get the certificate.
