The course “Psychology of Individual Differences is part of the core

subjects in B.A, under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) of UGC.

The course is specially designed to develop the comprehension of the

students about the concept of individual differences with the goal to

promote self-reflection and understanding of self and others. Again

enabling them to face Challenging times of chaos and confusion. This

course will also help the students to develop proper attitudes related to later

life adjustments.

Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Rather

Department of Education
Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Rather is an Associate Professor at Department of Education, University of Kashmir. With more than 15 years of teaching experience , he has an M.Phil and Ph.D from University of Kashmir and has been involved in teaching various subjects at UG and PG levels including Psychology, Creativity and Education, Guidance and Counselling, Mental Hygeine etc. His research interests include creativity, Learning, Locus of control etc. He has been associated with various Radio and T.V Programmes linked to Education, Psychology and counselling. He has actively Participated in the development of various MOOC’s courses.

Course certificate

Internal Assessment - Weekly assessments released in the course shall be considered for Internal Marks and will carry 30 percent for the Overall Result. Out of all weekly assignments, the best/top five scores will be considered for the final Internal Assessment marks.

End-term Assessment - The final exam shall be conducted by NTA, and will carry 70 percent for the overall Result.

All students who obtain 40% marks in the internal assessment and 40% marks in the end-term proctored exam separately will be eligible for the SWAYAM Credit Certificate.
