This course provides the students a thorough understanding and deep knowledge about the basic principles that tend to govern the free flow of trade in goods and services at the global level. The contents of the Paper spread over various modules, lay stress both on theory and applied nature of the subject that have registered rapid changes during the last decade.

Objectives of the course:
1. To introduce rationale of recent changes in the Economic Policy globally.
2. To acquaint the students with waves of globalization and liberalization
3. To acquaint the students with the domestic and international economic concerns.

Dr. Wahida Shaikh

Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune
Currently working as a HOD at Political Science Department, Abeda Inamdar Sr. College, Pune. Her academic qualification is M.A. and Ph.D in Political Science. She has 19 years of experience into academics and 15 years into research. She has received Best Teacher Award from D.Y.Patil Deemed University in 2016. She has built strong and enduring relationships. She has been the most popular faculty among her colleagues and students. Till date she has written Nine text books for various courses under SPPU viz., B.A and M.A. She has to her credit 50 research papers published at various international national and state level.

For SWAYAM Exam (conducted by NTA): A minimum of 40% Marks in Internal Assessments is required to be eligible for the SWAYAM Certificate. The Best/Top five scores from the weekly assignments will be considered while calculating your final internal assessment marks.

For University-Conducted Exam: You must complete at least 75% of the Internal Assessments to qualify for the university’s end-term examination.
