भारतीय वास्तुशास्त्र

प्राचीन भारतीय विद्याओं में अनेक ऐसी विद्याऐं है जिनका आज के तकनीकी व आर्थिक युग में महत्त्व अत्यधिक बढ गया है। जैसे योगशास्त्र, ज्योतिष, आयुर्वेद, वास्तुशास्त्र, भाषा विज्ञान इत्यादि। उसमें वास्तुशास्त्र का एक महत्त्वपूर्ण स्थान है। आज किसी भी प्रकार के निर्माण में वास्तुशास्त्र के नियमों को भी ध्यान में रखा जाता है, इसका कारण है कि प्राचीन वास्तुशास्त्र के अनुरूप निर्मित भवनादि में शुभ फलों को प्रत्यक्ष देखा गया है और वास्तुशास्त्र के मूल नियमों के विरुद्ध बने हुए भवनों में अशुभ प्रभावों का प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण देखा गया है। परन्तु आज जो वास्तुशास्त्र तीव्र गति से अपने पांव पसार रहा है वह शुद्ध रूप से भारतीय वास्तुशास्त्र के स्वरूप को प्रस्तुत नहीं कर रहा है। आज के अर्थप्रधान समय में वास्तुशास्त्र शास्त्रीय कम व्यावसायिक अधिक होता जा रहा है। अनेक काल्पनिक विधियों को जोडकर भारतीय वास्तुशास्त्र को विकृत किया जा रहा है। अतः इस पाठ्यक्रम की अत्यधिक आवश्यकता है। जिससे वास्तुशास्त्र को मूल भारतीय स्वरूप में ही प्रस्तुत किया जा सके।

In ancient Indian sciences, there are many such disciplines whose importance has greatly increased in today's era of technology and economy. Examples include Yogashastra (the science of Yoga), Jyotisha (astrology), Ayurveda, Vastushastra (the science of architecture), linguistics, and so on. Among these, Vastushastra holds a particularly significant place. Today, in any kind of construction, the principles of Vastushastra are also taken into consideration. The reason for this is that beneficial results have been directly observed in buildings and structures constructed in accordance with ancient Vastushastra, while inauspicious effects have been clearly evidenced in buildings made in violation of the fundamental principles of Vastushastra. However, the Vastushastra that is rapidly spreading its influence today does not present the pure form of traditional Indian Vastushastra. In this materialistic age dominated by commerce, Vastushastra is becoming more commercial than scriptural. Many imaginary methods are being added, thereby distorting Indian Vastushastra. Therefore, there is an utmost need for this course, so that Vastushastra can be presented in its original ancient form.

Dr. Pravesh Vyas is having huge practical experience in Residential Vastu (Multistory Buildings, Society Designing, farm houses, Benglows, Houses, Flats,etc) and also in commercial Vastu (Markets, Malls, Shops, offices, Factories, Hospitals, school, Colleges, Hotels, Restaurants etc

He is Assistant Professor in Department of Vastu,

Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi-16. He has UG & PG teaching experience of 8 years.

Previously he developed 13 e-content modules for epg-pathasala prepared for the paper Jyotisha and Vastushastra for Sanskrit(M.A.)

1. End-Term Examination:
• Weightage: 70% of the final result
• Minimum Passing Criteria: 40%
2. Internal Assessment:
• Weightage: 30% of the final result
• Minimum Passing Criteria: 40%
3. Calculation of IA Marks:
• Out of all graded weekly assessments/assignments, the top 50% of assignments shall be considered for the calculation of the final Internal Assessment marks. All students who obtain 40% marks in the internal assessment and 40% marks in the end-term proctored exam separately will be eligible for the SWAYAM Credit Certificate.
