Counselling Psychology course includes basics of counselling, counselling process, and introduction to different methods, techniques and therapies. This course gives the student an idea of how counselling is done. It also equips students to understand people around them and self-counselling. The course is not merely bunch of lectures but few videos and audio's are also included in various modules so that students understand the actual counselling practices. Lot of examples, case studies, self-work exercises, and extra study material are also provided so that students can learn the things on their own.

Dr. Pallavi Kasande

Savitribai Phule Pune University
Dr. Pallavi Kasande, is working Head, Counselling Dept, MKSSS’s Baya Karve Women’s Study and Research Centre. She has 25 years of experience in teaching, training and counselling. She has written various articles in Marathi newspapers and Magazines. Her areas of expertise are Family counselling, Grief counselling and Career counselling. She has conducted many training programs on Life Skill education. She is a wild life photographer and also has interest in Indian Philosophy.

End-Term Examination:
 - Weightage: 70% of the final result
 - Minimum Passing Criteria: 40%

Internal Assessment:
 - Weightage: 30% of the final result
 - Minimum Passing Criteria: 40%

Calculation of IA Marks:
 - Out of all graded weekly assessments/assignments, the top 50% of assignments shall be considered for the calculation of the final Internal Assessment marks.

All students who obtain 40% marks in the internal assessment and 40% marks in the end-term proctored exam separately will be eligible for the SWAYAM Credit Certificate.
