This course
provides an understanding on the basic concepts on the history of Kerala upto
12th century CE. The peculiarities of the geographical features of Keralam and
its influence on the course of the history of the region will be discussed. The
process of the social formation in the region will also be discussed focusing
the Megalithic culture, Early Historic period upto 5th century CE and the
period upto 12th century CE. The course will be based on the primary and
secondary sources.
സി ഇ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം നൂറ്റാണ്ട് വരെയുള്ള കേരള ചരിത്രത്തെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായ വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ സാമാന്യമായ അവബോധം ഉളവാക്കുന്നതിനാണ് ഈ കോഴ്സ് തയ്യാറാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. കേരളത്തിൻറെ ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രപരമായ സവിശേഷതകൾ ചരിത്രത്തെ എങ്ങനെ സ്വാധീനിച്ചു എന്നത് കോഴ്സിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ചർച്ച ചെയ്യും. മഹാശില സംസ്കൃതി, സി ഇ അഞ്ചാം നൂറ്റാണ്ട് വരെയുള്ള ആദ്യകാല സാമൂഹ്യ രൂപീകരണം എന്നിവ കോഴ്സിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്. അതിനുപുറമേ സിഇ ഒമ്പതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടു മുതൽ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൻറെ ആദ്യ മൂന്ന് ദശകങ്ങൾ വരെയുള്ള കാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ സാമൂഹിക സാംസ്കാരിക രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചരിത്രം ഈ കോഴ്സിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ചർച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്. പ്രാഥമികവും ദ്വിതീയവുമായ ഉപാദാനങ്ങളെ അടിസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തികൊണ്ടാണ് ഈ കോഴ്സ് പൂർത്തീകരിക്കുക

I have teaching experience for 18 years in the post
graduate departments of various government colleges. Academic credentials
include a Postgraduate Degree, NET, and Ph. D. I am supervising six research
scholars. Beyond teaching, I have authored Five volumes on History and two
volumes of poems. I have translated 20 volumes which includes Historical
Studies, Gender Studies, Autobiographies and Poems. I have published Research
Articles in esteemed journals.
Course Certificate Criteria
1. End-Term Examination:
o Weightage: 70% of the final result
o Minimum Passing Criteria: 40%

o Weightage: 30% of the final result
o Minimum Passing Criteria: 40%
Calculation of IA Marks:
o Out of all graded weekly assessments/assignments, the top 50% of assignments shall be considered for the calculation of the final Internal Assessment marks.
All students who obtain 40% marks in the internal assessment and 40% marks in the end-term proctored exam separately will be eligible for the SWAYAM Credit Certificate.
