This undergraduate course on Counselling in Social Work, coordinated by Dr. V. Kanakadurgamba, Faculty Member at Roda Mistry College of Social Work and Research Centre, aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of counselling theories, techniques, and applications in social work practice. Dr. Kanakadurgamba, a seasoned educator with over four decades of experience, has contributed extensively to social work education through teaching, research, and training.

Course certificate

To ensure uniformity and efficiency in the evaluation process of SWAYAM courses offered by NC-CEC, the following GRADING POLICY, approved by the competent authority.

 1.All assignments released during the enrollment period of the particular semester, shall remain open at least by a week after enrollment ends, so that late enrollees may submit their assignments.
 2. The primary mode of internal assessment will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs) assignments that are auto-graded; this is to reduce delays caused by manual evaluation of subjective assignments and to improve scalability and transparency in assessment.
 3.Each week of the course will mandatorily include one MCQ-based assignment.
 4.Out of all the weekly MCQ assignments, the best (Top) five scores will be considered for the final Internal Assessment marks.
