Welcome to the course People Management for Entrepreneurs.
Over the next six weeks, we will understand, critically analyze, and explore various aspects and concepts regarding how entrepreneurs can effectively and efficiently build, run, and scale their organizations.

Weekly topics summary:
In Week 1, the focus will be on understanding the significantly different thinking ways of an entrepreneur and a manager. The reflection of this week will be on the point of whether you are dominantly a founder or dominantly a manager?
In Week 2, the focus will be on understanding organization growth, especially in the context of companies that experience rapid growth. The reflection of this week will be on the HR challenges that plague fast growing organizations, and the ways to mitigate them.
In Week 3, the focus will be on designing an organization in such a way as to sustain the growth phase and successfully navigate the challenges discussed in the previous week. The reflection of this week will primarily revolve around the aspects of organization structure and culture as the pillars of building an efficient and robust organization.
In Week 4, the focus will be on understanding the importance of hiring the right talent. Effective people management lies at the heart of building a successful organization, and it is imperative upon an entrepreneur to have the right hiring strategy from Day 1.
In Week 5, the focus will be on creating a performance culture, especially with aspects of goal setting in mind. The reflection of this week will be to approach goals in such a way that they inspire excellence, and align with the larger vision and mission of the organization.
In Week 6, the focus will be on reflecting upon managerial, entrepreneurial and personal philosophies so as to attain a holistic understanding of living and leaving one's legacy.
