As we navigate the world of business and professional environments, it becomes crucial to grasp the psychological, social, and cultural factors influencing decision-making, leadership, and overall workplace well-being. The course begins with dissecting the complex decision-making processes, highlighting the distinctions between rational and non-rational choices, and understanding the biases and heuristics that often sway managerial decisions. The course then transitions into leadership, delving deep into its various theories and applications, especially in the Indian context. Emotions, mood, and stress are integral to any workplace, and the present course aims to equip participants with tools and strategies to effectively manage and harness these elements. Power dynamics, workplace politics, and influence mechanisms form an essential part of everyday organizational experiences. Gender roles, diversity, and inclusion are pressing issues in today's globalized workplace. The present course addresses these themes head-on, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of diversity and inclusion issues in the workplace.
