The course “Finance Analytics for Decision Making using Excel” is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize Excel as a tool for Financial Management data analysis and decision-making. In the 12-week course, learners will discover the basics of Finance analytics and master Excel skills to process, analyse, and visualize Finance data effectively. Learners will explore various Finance analytics concepts, such as descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, and recognize their applications in financial management for decision making. The course will cover topics such as creating Finance dashboards, trend line analysis, correlation, and regression using Excel. Learners will gain hands-on experience in applying Excel's features and functions to interpret Finance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Additionally, they will explore real-world examples and cases of Finance analytics to understand how data insights can drive strategic Finance initiatives and improve workforce management. By the end of the course, learners will be proficient in creating dynamic Finance dashboards, conducting various data analyses, and presenting Finance analytics insights effectively. Dr. Neha Mathur

Manipal University Jaipur

Dr. Neha Mathur is working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) at Centre for Distance and Online Education, Manipal University Jaipur. She has 16 years of teaching experience and worked in several reputed Universities in India. Dr. Mathur is expert in Financial Management, Management accounting, Research Methodology, Statistics for Management decisions and Business statistics. Under her guidance, she also supervised 1 Ph. D research successfully.  She was a convenor of various International Conferences and organized several workshops on Advanced Excel for scholars, faculty, and students. She has published more than 15 research papers indexed in Scopus, Web of Sciences, and UGC-Care-listed journals. She has completed several ATAL FDP’s  and NPTEL courses, where she was a top performer. Other than the core responsibility of teaching and research her job responsibilities in various organization also includes working as Assistant head of the institute, member- NAAC steering committee and Proctor at school level in university.
