Communicative Harmony: A Guide to Conflict Management

By Dr. Neelu Jain   |   Manipal University, Jaipur
Learners enrolled: 452

Conflict is an inherent part of human interaction—be it at home, at work, or in society at large. With today’s fast-paced, digitally connected, and culturally diverse environments, the potential for miscommunication and tension is even greater. The course, Communicative Harmony: A Guide to Conflict Management, focuses on the essential role of communication in both sparking and solving conflict. Just as unresolved conflicts can damage relationships and hinder progress, effective communication can rebuild trust, open dialogue, and turn disputes into opportunities for collaboration. This course aims to bridge the traditional understanding of conflict resolution with modern realities, such as managing virtual team disputes, navigating cross-cultural challenges, and using technology like AI-based sentiment analysis and digital mediation platforms. It captures the evolving landscape of conflict management shaped by remote communication, emotional intelligence, and personalized negotiation strategies. While tools and platforms may change, the foundational principles of empathetic, intentional, and strategic communication remain constant. Learners will gain the ability to identify the root of conflicts, evaluate responses, and adopt the most effective communication techniques to achieve harmony across different settings. This course also equips professionals to manage interdepartmental misunderstandings, improve collaboration between teams, and foster a conflict-resilient organizational culture across different

departments.
