The ‘Essential Communication Strategies for Leaders’ course is designed to equip graduate and postgraduate students, managers and prospective leaders with the skills and knowledge required to lead through impactful communication. This course focuses on the crucial role communication plays in building trust, influencing teams, resolving conflicts, and navigating organizational challenges.  Throughout the course, learners will explore various communication frameworks and tools that enhance leadership effectiveness, from mastering interpersonal communication to excelling in public speaking and persuasive dialogue. Emphasis is placed on practical applications, with case studies, role-playing, and real-world scenarios providing hands-on experience in communicating vision, strategy, and change.  In addition, the course covers essential topics like digital leadership communication, cross- cultural communication, and ethical dilemmas in leadership. Students will develop the ability to adapt their communication styles to different audiences, manage virtual teams, and lead in diverse global contexts.  By the end of the course, learners will not only improve their personal communication skills but also be equipped to foster transparent, ethical, and effective communication within their organizations, thus enhancing their leadership potential.

Dr. Bharti is presently working as Assistant Professor (Senior Scale), Faculty of Business Management, CDOE, Manipal University Jaipur, India. She has experience of working in academia and industries for more than 15 years. She has been involved in writing books, edited book chapters and conduction of online training programs. She has authored and edited books in her account on Learning Pedagogy in Higher Education, and on management topics of her interest.  Her academic interest is in teaching courses relevant to the domain of Marketing Management, Leadership and courses related to human values. Dr. Bharti published research articles in reputed national and international journals in the different areas. She is holding expertise in creation and delivery of online courses in 4 quadrant approach.



Dr. Surabhi Basotia

Dr. Surabhi Basotia is a passionate educator and researcher specializing in business communication, with a strong academic foundation in English Literature. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature, with research interests spanning Postmodern Feminism, Film Adaptations, and American Literature. Over the past three years, she has gained valuable experience teaching and engaging with both graduate and post- graduate level learners, nurturing their academic growth and communication capabilities. For the last two years, she has been actively involved in delivering communication training through online platforms, helping a diverse range of learners build effective communication skills. Her commitment to global teaching standards is reflected in her completion of two levels of TESOL certification from Arizona State University through Coursera. She is known for her compassionate approach to teaching, striving to make communication an accessible and empowering tool for all her students. Her goal is to help learners not only understand communication but also use it confidently and strategically in their professional and managerial pursuits. Her work is further enriched by a growing portfolio of research publications and a continuous drive to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.
