I am a professor with the Department of
Commerce at CHRIST (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY), Bangalore. As a research
supervisor, I have guided six Ph.D. scholars—four from Bharathiyar University,
Coimbatore, and two from AMET University, Chennai—who have completed their
doctoral degrees. In addition to my academic commitments, I have contributed to
curriculum development and academic policy as a Board of Studies (BoS) member
of the Department of Commerce with several colleges and universities.
In line with the NEP’s vision for digital
transformation, I have also contributed to e-learning content development
through two SWAYAM MOOC courses: one on income tax, developed with EMMRC
Calicut (completed two cycles), and another ongoing course under the SWAYAM
program in association with IIM Bangalore. I have authored 106 textbooks in
commerce at PUC and degree levels, and twenty-two of my books were recommended
textbooks for Bangalore University. My academic career spans more than 32
years, encompassing teaching, mentoring, research, and academic leadership. I
have over 10 peer-reviewed publications indexed in Scopus and UGC CARE journals
and an API score that meets UGC’s requirements.
