Dr. Suresha B is an accomplished academician and an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad. He holds M.Com, MBA, MA in Business Economics, PGDFM, M.Phil, and has received his Doctoral Degree in Management from Bharathiar University. He has completed the FDPM from IIM Ahmedabad. He has dedicated himself to extensive teaching and research in areas such as Investment Banking, Derivatives and Risk Management, ESG, Corporate Finance, Managerial Accounting, and Personal Taxation. He has been publishing research papers in top-tier journals and has received awards for his outstanding contributions to the field. He currently serves as Professor and Associate Head at the School of Business and Management, BBA program, at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. With over 24 years of teaching and research experience, he continues to inspire and guide students and actively mentors doctoral scholars and dissertation projects. He is a life member of the Indian Accounting Association and has served on the Board of Studies at CHRIST and other reputable universities. He has authored four books and published over sixty research papers in reputable nationally and internationally indexed refereed journals. His research interests include Market Efficiency, ESG, Sustainable Finance, AIML, digital literacy, Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing, and Tax Compliance.
Enrolling and learning from the course is free. However, if you wish to obtain a certificate, you must register and take the proctored exam in person at one of the designated exam centres. Grading Components:
Internal Assignment Score: This contributes 25% to the final grade. It is calculated based on the average of the best 3 out of 6 assignments submitted during the course.
Proctored Final Exam Score: This contributes 75% to the final grade and is based on the proctored final exam, which is scored out of 100.
Overall Course Score: The overall course score is the weighted sum of the internal assignment score and the proctored final exam score.
