Instructor bio

Prof. Iqbalur Rehman

Aligarh Muslim University
Professor Iqbalur Rehman is teaching since 1993: First he joined the Centre for Strategic Studies, AMU in 1993 as Lecturer and worked there till 1998. Afterwards, he is working with the Department of Political Science Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Before joining the centre as Lecturer he also served as Research Fellow from December 1998 to December 1991 on a Research Project on Indian Ocean sanctioned by the Department of Ocean Development, Government of India. He also worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi for a period of two years from October 2002 to November 2004 on a research project: Terrorism in India: The Role of Religion and Politics. Presently he is professor at the Department of Political Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.


Prof. Mohd Amin Mir

Prof. Mohd Amin Mir is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He did his Ph. D. in Political Science from the Department of Political Science, AMU. Prof. Mir qualified NET-JRF conducted by UGC in 2008. Prior to joining as Assistant Professor in AMU, Prof. Mir taught Political Science in Government Degree College, Kellem, Kashmir. Prof. Mir has participated and presented papers in various National, International Conferences/Seminars and workshops. He has published a number of papers in various journals of repute. His research interests include Kashmir politics, political theory and Western political thought.

The course is free to enroll and learn from. But if you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by us in person at any of the designated exam centres.
The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).
Date and Time of Exams: 25 October 2024 Morning session 9am to 12 noon; Afternoon Session 2pm to 5pm.

The online registration form has to be filled and the certification exam fee needs to be paid. More details will be made available when the exam registration form is published. If there are any changes, it will be mentioned then.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE

Average assignment score = 25% of average of best 8 assignments out of the total 12 assignments given in the course.
Exam score = 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=10/25 AND EXAM SCORE >= 30/75. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

Certificate will have your name, photograph and the score in the final exam with the breakup.It will have the logos of AMU and INI.

Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
