ABOUT THE COURSE:
Interaction of human behaviour in organisational settings has been gaining new momentum at the micro (individuals in organisations), meso (work groups), and macro (organisations in individuals) levels. The proposed course structure not only focuses on the basic Organisational Behaviour courses but incorporates the advanced parts of organisational behaviours like organisational citizenship behaviour, toxicity in the workplace, employee resilience/experience and DEI, etc. The number of disciplines like industrial/organisational psychology, sociology, management, and anthropology has influenced the course, hence it has wide coverage among UG/PG/Doctoral students of Commerce, Management, Social Sciences, and Industry Professionals etc. The main objective of the course (from basics to advanced) is to give a holistic map of Organisational Behaviour (OB) under one umbrella as per the needs of students/academia/industry through theoretical and practical implementations.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: B.Com., M.Com., MBA or any other Disciplines (Pursing or Completed), Ph.D. Course Work Students, Academicians, and Working Professionals.

Instructor bio

Prof. S.C. Das

Banaras Hindu University
Dr. S.C. Das, Professor of OB & HR at Faculty of Commerce, BHU, Varanasi (UP), India, obtained a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) and Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) in OB and HR from Banaras Hindu University, INDIA. Prof. Das has expertise in HR, HRD, CSR, Industrial relations, HPWS, financial literacy, emotional intelligence, green HRM, insurance studies, etc. He has published Twelve Books and over Eighty Research Papers in national and international indexed and refereed journals. He has twenty-eight years of teaching and research experience in the PG Programme in HRM, Organisational Behaviour, Industrial Sociology, Research Methodology, Organisation Theory, etc. To date, twenty research scholars have been awarded doctoral degrees under his supervision.

Prof. Das is actively engaged in collaborative research projects with UGC and ICSSR and has completed four sponsored research projects on “Quality of Work Life”; “Work-Life Balance”; “Organisational Citizenship Behaviours and Organisational Effectiveness”; and “Linking Organisational Culture with Institutional Performance in Indian HLIs, etc. Presently, Prof. Das has been working on two funded projects, namely “Workplace Culture on Employee Relations in Select Indian and Indo-Japanese Manufacturing Organisations” and “Measurement of Quality of Doctoral Theses in Commerce and Management Disciplines of Indian Higher Learning Institutions”.

Prof. Das frequently delivers keynote presentations and masterclasses in practitioner forums on topical themes such as Operational research methodology, HRD, techniques of survey analysis, Compensation Management, Diversity Management, etc. He has visited abroad to present research papers in England (London Metropolitan University, 2005), Canada (Thompson Rivers University, 2010), Scotland (Edinburgh Napier University, 2014), and Sweden (Gothenburg University, 2024), etc.

Prof. Das has been awarded no. honors for his research work i.e., Best Business Academic of the Year (BBAY), Silver Medal-2004, Best Business Academic of the Year (BBAY) Gold Medal-2015 and Prof. Manubhai M Shah Memorial Research Award- Gold Medal,2016 by Indian Commerce Association, India, UGC Research Award-2016-18 and Amity Excellence Award for the Best Professor in the Area of Organizational Behaviour, 2020 by Amity University, Noida, INDIA

The course is free to enroll and learn from. But if you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by us in person at any of the designated exam centres.
The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).
Date and Time of Exams: 24 October 2025 Morning session 9am to 12 noon; Afternoon Session 2pm to 5pm.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE

Average assignment score = 25% of average of best 8 assignments out of the total 12 assignments given in the course.
Exam score = 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

Please note that assignments encompass all types (including quizzes, programming tasks, and essay submissions) available in the specific week.

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=10/25 AND EXAM SCORE >= 30/75. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

Certificate will have your name, photograph and the score in the final exam with the breakup. It will have the logos of INI and BHU.

Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
