Dr. Sarvesh Kumar is presently working as Associate Professor, Department of Extension Education, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hundu University, Varanasi, (UP), India. The excellent teaching, extension and research work was done by him since 12 October 2011 to till date continuously at different capacities in different educational institutions in India. He was many times recognized by receiving appreciation letter from district collector, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Agril Hon’ble minster to women and child developed Govt. of MP and other national & International societies. The teaching research and extension temperament of instructor may positively be witnessed by research publication in nut shell as UGC/NAAS rated papers 42, books authored 05, book chapters 12, extension bulletins-12, folder-40, articles English-20, articles hindi-131, ICT developed -03, teaching-RAWE program & AIA experience 13 years, total award received -16, total appreciations & recognition-16, FPO developed-05, Common service centers developed-05, value chain development-10, HRD training received for 98 days, successful case & impact registered by self-15, sponsored trainings given 239, in-service training-12, OFTs-12, FLDs-07 organized, trainings for farmers & farm women-538, trainings for rural youth-16, field days-48, Mela/exhibitions-46, recognized fellowship recieved-03, invited lecturer given-554, paper presented national/international level-36 till now.


Sr. Professor AK Singh

Sr. Prof. Arun Kumar Singh was born on 1st Jan 1961 in Chandauli district of UP. He completed his B.Sc. (Ag) from Gorakhpur University in 1982 and MSc (Ag) Agricultural Extension from Allahabad University in 1985, Ph.D. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Agra. He served as Assistant professor, Associate and professor at GBPUAT, Pantnagar, Uttrakhand from 2005 to 2007. He joined Department of Extension Education, I.Ag.Sc., BHU, Varanasi (UP), India in the year 2007 as professor and elevated to senior professor in 2018. He also acted as warden and admin warden of Bal Gangadhar Tilak Hostel of BHU, as nodal officer for the project “Mahindra Samridhi Grant & Stipend” as principle investigator. He has supervised 18 Ph.D. and more than 60 M.Sc. students under his guidance. Presently acting as Head, Department of Extension Education, I.Ag.Sc., BHU, Varanasi (UP), India. He has a vast teaching, guiding, administrative and extension experience of 20 years.

The course is free to enroll and learn from. But if you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by us in person at any of the designated exam centres.
The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).
Date and Time of Exams: 24 October 2025 Morning session 9am to 12 noon; Afternoon Session 2pm to 5pm.

The online registration form has to be filled and the certification exam fee needs to be paid. More details will be made available when the exam registration form is published. If there are any changes, it will be mentioned then.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE

Average assignment score = 25% of average of best 3 assignments out of the total 4 assignments given in the course.
Exam score = 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

Please note that assignments encompass all types (including quizzes, programming tasks, and essay submissions) available in the specific week.

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=10/25 AND EXAM SCORE >= 30/75. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

Certificate will have your name, photograph and the score in the final exam with the breakup. It will have the logos of INI and BHU.

Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
