ABOUT THE COURSE:
पोषण हमारे शरीर को आवश्यक ऊर्जा और पोषक तत्व प्रदान करता है, जो न केवल हमारे अंगों को सुचारु रूप से कार्य करने में मदद करता है, बल्कि हमें बीमारियों से बचाने और एक स्वस्थ जीवन जीने के लिए भी तैयार करता है। इस 8-सप्ताह के इस पाठ्यक्रम में, हम पशु और मानव में पोषण और आहार के सभी महत्वपूर्ण पहलुओं पर चर्चा करेंगे। आरम्भ में, हम पोषण और पोषक तत्वों की बुनियादी जानकारी से परिचित होंगे, जैसे मैक्रोन्यूट्रिएंट्स (प्रोटीन, कार्बोहाइड्रेट, वसा) और माइक्रोन्यूट्रिएंट्स (विटामिन, खनिज)। तत्पश्चात, हम पाचन प्रणाली, संतुलित आहार के सिद्धांत, और विशेष पोषण आवश्यकताओं को भी समझेंगे। पाठ्यक्रम के अंत में हम आधुनिक पोषण एवं आहार निर्माण की मूल बातों के साथ साथ पोषण के रुझान और चुनौतियाँ को भी समझने का प्रयास करेंगे ।

Dr. Mahipal Choubey is working as Assistant Professor (Selection grade), Department of Animal Nutrition, Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, RGSC-Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Mirzapur. He is a veterinary graduate having Ph.D. degree in the field of Animal Nutrition from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar. He possesses 12 years of teaching and research experience.


Dr. Sandeep Kumar Chaudhary

Dr. Sandeep Kumar Chaudhary is working as Assistant Professor (Senior scale), Department of Animal Nutrition, Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, RGSC-Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Mirzapur. He holds a Ph.D. degree in the field of Animal Nutrition from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar and possesses 5 years of teaching and research experience.


Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh

Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh is working as Assistant Professor (Senior scale), Department of Animal Nutrition, Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, RGSC-Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Mirzapur. He holds a Ph.D. degree in the field of Animal Nutrition from ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal and possesses 5 years of teaching and research experience.

Course certificate

The course is free to enroll and learn from. But if you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by us in person at any of the designated exam centres.
The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).
Date and Time of Exams: 24 October 2025 Morning session 9am to 12 noon; Afternoon Session 2pm to 5pm.
Registration url: Announcements will be made when the registration form is open for registrations.
The online registration form has to be filled and the certification exam fee needs to be paid. More details will be made available when the exam registration form is published. If there are any changes, it will be mentioned then.
Please check the form for more details on the cities where the exams will be held, the conditions you agree to when you fill the form etc.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE

Average assignment score = 25% of average of best 6 assignments out of the total 8 assignments given in the course.
Exam score = 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

Please note that assignments encompass all types (including quizzes, programming tasks, and essay submissions) available in the specific week.

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=10/25 AND EXAM SCORE >= 30/75. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

Certificate will have your name, photograph and the score in the final exam with the breakup. It will have the logos of INI and BHU.

Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
