ABOUT THE COURSE:
This course offers a holistic approach to the recovery of heart attack and stroke patients, integrating Ayurveda with modern medicine. It covers physiotherapy, yogic practices, psychological counseling, dietary support, and social connectivity, emphasizing personalized Ayurvedic treatments based on individual constitution (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), digestive power, and seasonal variations. Participants will learn the importance of spiritual healing, food compatibility, and self-confidence in recovery. The course includes video lectures, written materials, research papers, and concludes with an exam, leading to certification upon successful completion. Faculty includes experts from IMS, BHU.

Prof.Vaidya Sushil Kumar Dubey

Prof. Vaidya Sushil Kumar Dubey is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Ayurveda, Banaras Hindu University, specializing in Kriya Sharir (Ayurvedic Physiology). He holds multiple degrees, including BAMS, MD (Ayurveda), and Ph.D. He has 15 years of clinical and teaching experience and has authored books and articles on Ayurveda. Additionally, he has contributed to several projects and received various awards for his contributions to Ayurveda education and research.


Prof. Namrata Joshi

Prof. Namrata Joshi: She is currently a Professor and Head of the Department of Rasa Shastra & B.K. at Banaras Hindu University. With 17 years of experience, she specializes in Ayurveda research and drug development, particularly in cancer research. She has guided numerous MD and Ph.D. scholars, authored 58 research papers, and written book chapters. She has contributed to AYUSH projects and government research activities, including COVID-19 studies. She also authored a book on Research Methodology in 2015.


Prof. Yamini Bhusan Tripathi

Prof. Y.B. Tripathi: He is a distinguished academic and former Dean of the Faculty of Ayurveda at Banaras Hindu University. He has over 43 years of experience in research and teaching, specializing in the scientific validation of Ayurvedic concepts and new drug development. He has published over 190 papers and holds 3 patents.

Course certificate

The course is free to enroll and learn from. But if you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by us in person at any of the designated exam centres.
The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).
Date and Time of Exams: 24 October 2025 Morning session 9am to 12 noon; Afternoon Session 2pm to 5pm.

The online registration form has to be filled and the certification exam fee needs to be paid. More details will be made available when the exam registration form is published. If there are any changes, it will be mentioned then.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE

Average assignment score = 25% of average of best 8 assignments out of the total 12 assignments given in the course.
Exam score = 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100

Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score

Please note that assignments encompass all types (including quizzes, programming tasks, and essay submissions) available in the specific week.

YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=10/25 AND EXAM SCORE >= 30/75. If one of the 2 criteria is not met, you will not get the certificate even if the Final score >= 40/100.

Certificate will have your name, photograph and the score in the final exam with the breakup. It will have the logos of INI and BHU.

Only the e-certificate will be made available. Hard copies will not be dispatched.
