Name: Mr. Aalok Kumar
Designation: Academic Officer (Social Science), NIOS.
Mr. AALOK KUMAR is an Academic
Officer (Social Science) at the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). He
is a Ph.D. Research Scholar at the University of Hyderabad. His academic
journey began with a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Delhi,
followed by a Master's degree in Modern Indian History from Jawaharlal Nehru
University. He specializes in Modern Indian History with a keen interest in
various specialized areas such as Ethnohistory, community history, Indian
History and Culture, Indian National Movement, and Labour Studies, with a
comprehensive understanding of the complexities and nuances within modern
Indian History and Labour movement.
He has qualified UGC-JRF scholarship. He has two years of experience as a Research Assistant at Dattopant Thengadi Foundation, New Delhi. He also has teaching experience of One and half years as a Guest Faculty at various study centers of the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), University of Delhi.>
