Mr. Shravan Kumar Pendyala, is Academic Officer(Fine
Arts) at National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). He has an extensive and
diverse professional background. His career in the field of education began in
2011 as an IBDP Visual Arts and IGCSE Art & Design Facilitator at various
international schools, later as Assistant Professor of Art Education at
Inter-University Centre for Teacher Education, Mysuru. Shravan embarked on a
profound artistic journey at Kala-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University in
Santiniketan in 2005, where he earned his BFA (History of Art). His pursuit of
knowledge led him to further specialize in History of Art, and in 2011, he
obtained a Master of Fine Arts with a focus on Painting and Graphics. His
academic achievements continued as he completed M.Phil (Education) at Tata
Institute of Social Sciences in 2016. He actively contributes to the field of
education in the areas of curriculum and pedagogy. He also served as an Visual
Art Examiner for University of Mysore and International Baccalaureate
Organization. Additionally, he is a member of the Comparative Educational
Society of India, New Delhi. Shravan was certified with Assistant Professorship
and awarded a research fellowship by the University Grants Commission, New
Delhi, in Visual Arts (2013) and in Education (2019). As an avid researcher, he
has authored articles on art and education. His research papers have been
published in journals such as "Teacher Plus" and "Nandan: An
annual on Art and Aesthetics". He has explored topics such as assessing
arts and the challenges of teaching visual arts.
For Secondary Level Passing Certificate
1. In order to obtain Secondary (10th) passing certificate from NIOS, the learners are required to enroll in minimum five subjects including one or maximum two languages on SWAYAM. For examination and certification, the learners must also enroll with NIOS.
2. The admission in NIOS is done through online mode only. The learner can visit the official website of NIOS i.e., www.nios.ac.in or www.sdmis.nios.ac.in .The learner can also visit the Regional Centre or nearest AI (study Centre) or designated Common Service Centre (CSC), the list of which is available on the website and take help for online admission in NIOS.
