Dr. Deepanwita Srivastava
Indira Gandhi National Open University
Dr. Deepanwita Srivastava is a faculty and in charge of the French discipline at the School of Foreign Languages, IGNOU. She has a long experience in teaching of French in both Distance and conventional learning models at universities and institutions of Higher education. Her areas of specializations include Didactics of French, Open and Distance Learning, Travel and Mobility studies and Translation.
The Ministry of Education appointed her as Expert for the upcoming Hindi-French Dictionary by the Central Hindi Directorate, Govt. of India.
She remains involved in programmes for training of French teachers in India and South Asia with the Embassy of France and has guided numerous doctoral theses contributing to knowledge creation in the domain of Didactics of French as a Foreign Language.
Widely published and invited/visiting researcher at several universities internationally, she remains deeply involved in teaching and research.
