By Mr. Pankaj Kumar Swarnkar   |   Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai
Learners enrolled: 873
This course involves a detailed discussion on various essential surveying principles, instruments, terminology, and procedures. These include the compass for direction and angle measurement, leveling for finding the elevation of points using various levels and methods such as the H.I. method and the Rise & Fall Method, the theodolite for precise angle measurement, contouring for map creation, tacheometry for rapid distance and height calculation, and the graphical method of surveying, known as plane table surveying. Additionally, this course covers modern methods such as GPS, GIS, Photogrammetry, and total station. The theoretical aspects will be accompanied by real-life field problems discussed using case studies
