Sindhi is a stateless language. However, It was included in the 8th Schedule of Indian Constitution in 1967. Sindhi language has rich linguistic, literary and cultural heritage. Preservation and dissemination of language can be undertaken through language learning. This course deals with the various dimensions of Sindhi Language including Grammar, development of language and use of language of in life routine.

Prof. Rajendra Prasad Pandey

IGNOU

Prof. Rajendra Prasad Pandey is Professor & Director, School of Translation Studies and Training, Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. He is a Hindi critic, bilingual writer and translator. He writes in Hindi and English and translates from Hindi to English & Vice-Versa. Prof. Pandey has received his degrees from university of Allahabad (Graduation), and Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi (M.A., M.Phil & Ph.D.).

 

He has been working as Professor since 11 February, 2012 and has been engaged in permanent position in the University system of higher education as teacher since Jan. 1996. He joined as Reader & Re-designated as Associate Professor in SOTST, IGNOU, New Delhi on 11th Feb 2009.
