The underlying objective of the course on Cloud Infrastructure and Services is to develop relevant knowledge, skills and attitude for job seekers and for professionals looking for career progression. The course content will contain recorded videos, which are based on the syllabus designed by the experts. All the participants, who are enrolled for the course, can take the course online. Also they can download the video/text material for later use. After the completion of each lecture, the students can clarify their doubts with the instructor, who is available online. At the end of the course, the students have an option to undergo an online test which is objective in nature. On successful completion of the exam, the student shall be provided with a certificate declaring the participation and successful completion of the course by the candidate as per the guidelines.

Instructor bio

A dedicated researcher and academician, Dr. Nilesh Modi embodies a commitment to enhancement, upgradation, and innovation, fueled by a competitive spirit and a drive for excellence. With over 22 years of extensive experience in both academia and the IT industry, Dr.Modi currently serves as Professor & Director at the School of Computer Science and holds multipledirectorial positions at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad.

Under his exemplary leadership, the university achieved accreditation with an A++ Grade (with are markable 3.55 CGPA on a 4-point scale) from the National Assessment Accreditation Council NAAC) in July 2022. Additionally, Dr. Modi spearheaded initiatives leading to the university's attainment of Category – I Graded Autonomy Status from the University Grants Commission (UGC). He has also expanded the university's offerings to include online programs alongside traditional Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs. Dr. Modi earned his Doctorate in E-Security (Computer Science and Application) and possesses expertise in cybersecurity, holding certifications in Ethical Hacking and Prince2 Foundation. He has received prestigious accolades such as the "Career Award for Young Teachers (CAYT)" from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and has been entrusted with principal investigator roles for significant research projects funded by AICTE.

As a research supervisor for Ph.D. and M.Phil. programs, Dr. Modi has guided numerous scholars and evaluated their theses from various universities worldwide. He is actively engaged as a manuscript reviewer and program committee member for renowned national and international research journals and conferences. Dr. Modi's prolific research contributions include over 75 papers published in esteemed international and national journals and conferences. Dr. Modi is an esteemed life member of several professional organizations including the CSI, ACM, IEEE, IACSIT, IACSI, and IAEng. His consultancy work extends to system development projects within the IT industry and government projects, showcasing his versatile expertise and commitment to advancing knowledge and technology.

The online registration form has to be filled, and the certification exam fee needs to be paid.


CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE


30 Marks will be allocated for Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) which will be available at the end of the course and 70 Marks will be allocated for end term proctored examination.


A  minimum of 40% passing marks (i.e. at-least 12 marks in Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) & 28 Marks in external proctored examination) will be required for being eligible for SWAYAM Certificate.
