This course involves introducing students to the fundamental electronic components and features of electronic devices through a structured curriculum. The course covers basic electronic devices and circuits, including diodes and diode circuits, as well as BJT and JFET and their application in circuits. Students will also be guided through the study of OP-AMP circuits and their various applications. Assignments will be provided to allow students to assess their comprehension of the topics covered.

Mr. Abhijeet Lal
is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg, with nine years of teaching experience. He holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from RCET, Bhilai, and an M. Tech in Electrical Power System from SHIATS, Allahabad. Additionally, he completed a PGDC in Transmission and Distribution System from NPTI, Nagpur, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at CSVTU, Bhilai. Mr. Lal has an impressive research background with 14 published papers in international journals and over 40 papers reviewed for the Journal of Institution of Engineers, India. He has also actively participated in various evaluation roles for esteemed events like Smart India Hackathon and Toycathon. His expertise spans across Power Electronics, Power Systems, Electrical Machines, and High Voltage Engineering. Dr. Onika Parmar Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU)
Dr. Onika Parmar is Assistant Professor, Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai. Ph.D. in Power MOSFET from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur. She holds a Master's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation with a specialization in Microelectronics and VLSI Design from SGSITS, Indore. With an impressive research background, Dr. Parmar has published seven SCI-indexed papers and has presented her work at numerous conferences. She has gained valuable teaching experience over the years, having taught for three years at NIT Raipur and two years at the Microelectronics and VLSI Department of CSVTU Bhilai. Her expertise lies in the fields of power MOSFETs, Microelectronics, and VLSI design.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE


30 Marks will be allocated for Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) which will be available at the end of the course and 70 Marks will be allocated for end term proctored examination.


A  minimum of 40% passing marks (i.e. at-least 12 marks in Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) & 28 Marks in external proctored examination) will be required for being eligible for SWAYAM Certificate.
