Ajay Kumar Singh is presently working in domain of Education policy, Education Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Management in Education. Prior to joining IGNOU, he served as Professor of Education, at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai. He worked for Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan & Rastriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan during 2010-15, as Chief Consultant for Ministry of Human Resource & Development. He also had the opportunity to work as Assistant Professor, Faculty of Education at University of Delhi. While working at TISS, he was responsible for implantation of large-scale Education project that is - Connected learning Initiative (CLIx- CLIx Winner of the UNESCO-King Hamad Prize Excellence in the Use of ICTs in Education). He has a long experience in Education Policy, Large Scale Project Management in Education Teachers Education and Systemic Reform. He also worked on Impact of Social Violence on Children Education. He had also been on several expert Committees set up by the Government of India, and State Governments. He was member of National Task force on Curriculum and Pedagogy reform mandated and constituted under RTE act 2009. His books on Media, Itihas aur Hasiye ke log has been awarded by Bhartendu Harishchandra Puraskar by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, and his book on Parliamentary Democracy. - “Sansad Samprabhuta aur Uttarloktantra “ was selected for Sansadiya Pustak Puruskar, of the Ministry of Parliamentary affair of Government of India, 2004.

CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE
30 Marks will be allocated for Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) which will be available at the end of the course and 70 Marks will be allocated for end term proctored examination.
A minimum of 40% passing marks (i.e. at-least 12 marks in Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) & 28 Marks in external proctored examination) will be required for being eligible for SWAYAM Certificate.
