Before assuming charge as Pro Vice-Chancellor of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) Bhilai, Prof. Sanjay Agrawal was Professor in Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. He is the recipient of prestigious Bhaskara Solar Energy Fellowship from the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and Department of Science and Technology (DST), India. This led him to his Post Doctoral Fellowship from Smart Grid Energy Research Centre, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),USA. Prof Agrawal received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He has 21 years of rich teaching and research experience with specialization in Electrical Engineering. He has published more than 80 papers in international journals and authored three books. According to Google Scholar, his total citation is over 1940 with i-10 index 31 and h-index 23.He has presented papers in Sweden, Spain and USA and has given more than 50 invited talks in reputed organizations. He has also published patents, titled ‘Improved Hybrid Solar Collector’, ‘Hybrid Photovoltaic Thermal Apparatus with V-Groove Absorber” and Sheet and tubes based hybrid photovoltaic thermal system.

With a Ph.D. from NIT Bhopal, an M. Tech. in Energy Technology with a Gold Medal, and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, he has a decade of experience in the area of renewable energy. Proficient in collaborations with governments, state-owned entities, and private utilities, his background includes notable research, including work with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Mumbai. His skill set covers rural electrification, solar parks, waste management, smart grids, and renewables. Boasting 40+ research papers, international presentations and a patent, he excels in wind farm repowering, solar thermal applications, energy management, and artificial neural networks.

The online registration form has to be filled, and the certification exam fee needs to be paid.


CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE


30 Marks will be allocated for Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) which will be available at the end of the course and 70 Marks will be allocated for end term proctored examination.


A  minimum of 40% passing marks (i.e. at-least 12 marks in Internal Assessment (Final Quiz- Mandatory) & 28 Marks in external proctored examination) will be required for being eligible for SWAYAM Certificate.
