The course Cyber Security, Tools, Techniques and Countermeasures aims to provide a foundational platform for Cyber Security Aspirants by providing Cyber Security Awareness and Training that heighten the chances of catching a scam or attack before it is fully enacted, minimizing damage to the resources and ensuring the protection of information technology assets. The course focuses on covering all cyber security landscapes theoretically and practically. This course provides a range of career opportunities in Cyber Security Sectors as Network/Application Security Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, Security Automation, Cyber Security Practitioner, Cyber Defense Analyst, Penetration Tester, Information Security Engineer in leading IT Industries and to act as Cyber Security Experts in in Governmental Organizations. Cyber Security, Tools, Techniques and Counter Measures course teaches learners to protect the confidentiality, availability and integrity of information and information systems that support modern organizations. The program focuses on both the fundamentals of information systems as well as advanced topics in areas such as network security, cryptography, risk management, security governance, business continuity, security, architecture, physical security and critical infrastructures.

A researcher and academician, who believes in „Enhancement‟, „Up-gradation and Innovation‟ requires high levels of competitive spirit,. a will to think the best, a will to see the best, a will to take the best and a will to give the best. Dr. Nilesh Modi is having rich experience of around 17 years in academics and IT industry. Presently he is working as Professor & Director, School of Computer Science, Controller of Examination (I/c.) and NAAC Coordinator at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad. He is holding Doctorate in E-Security (Computer Science and Application). He is holding expertise on Cyber Security, and certification on an Ethical Hacking. He has been awarded with prestigious “Career Award for Young Teachers (CAYT)” for the financial year 2013- 14 by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The award money Rs. 9,00,000/- for the research project titled “Modeling a framework for efficient and secured use of networked resources for an organization in recent cyber age” He has also been awarded with another prestigious project as “Principal Investigator” for the MODROB (Modernization & Removal of Obsolescence) Scheme for the financial year 2013-14 by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. For the research project titled “Smarten‐Up the Computing Facility With Advanced Teaching Learning Aids” He has worked as recognized research supervisors for Ph.D. and M.Phil. Programme for different universities in India. He has reviewed number of Ph.D., M.Phil and M.Tech thesis from different universities in India and abroad also evaluated the scholars for the same. He is also serving as a manuscript reviewer and program committee member for different research journals and conferences of national and international repute in the world. He has very good number of research under his name and presented more than 75 research papers in International and National Journals and Conferences. He has delivered number of expert talk on eSecurity and hacking in National and International Conferences. Dr Modi, a person with vibrancy having his active involvement as a life member of CSI, ACM IEEE, IACSIT, IACSI, IAEng apart from his academic and industrial career. As a consultant he is contributing for different system development projects with IT industry and carried out different Government Projects. He is also serving as a member of board of studies and selection committee in Gujarat Technological University, Bhavnagar University along with different universities in the country.
