This
course is designed for learners to gain understanding of Punjabi Language,
Punjabi Literature, Culture of Punjab, and History of Sikhism. The course
introduced alphabets of Punjabi language, grammar rules followed while making
sentences in Punjabi language. The course discusses various aspects of Punjabi
culture, its history, and Sikhism.

Prof. Amarpreet Singh Ghura is an alumni
of Tata Institute of Social Sciences and
was associated with the Indian Institute of Management - Calcutta as a
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. Dr. Ghura at present is the member of the
Punjabi Sahitya Academy (Government of Maharashtra). He has over 13 years of
experience in the education industry and was associated with institutions such
as the Indian Institute of Management - Calcutta, the Indian Institute of
Management – Ahmedabad, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India,
Ahmedabad etc. at various capacities. As a visiting faculty Dr. Ghura has
taught at IIM Sambalpur in their Ph.D. and Executive Ph.D. program; and at IMT
Ghaziabad in their Executive program.
